Programs

School-Year Program

Since our program is designed for school-age children, we are able to provide an environment where student-choice is encouraged, independence is cultivated and long-lasting friendships are made.

After school, students can engage in various athletic activities such as kickball and four square. The Bird’s Nest has their own private, fenced-in playground. We also offer students the opportunity for crafts, electronic time, and many other fun games and activities!

Summer Program

Our summer program is packed full of field trips and activities to keep students busy and having fun while they are out of school for summer break. We provide a daily morning and afternoon snack as well as a nutritional lunch for our students.

What a typical summer week looks like:
Mondays: Bondurant Community Library brings their Summer Reading Program to our facility
Tuesdays/Thursdays: Pool days at the Altoona Aquatics Park
Wednesdays: Field trip day! Field trips typically are Sky Zone, Blank Park Zoo, movie theater, and more!
Fridays: Guests, showcases, and large group activities are brought to our facility
