The Bird’s Nest was founded in 2010 by Jill Sullivan and Felicia Collison, two local mothers who saw a need for school-age childcare in the Bondurant community. Over the last 13 years, The Bird’s Nest has grown from a program of twenty children in a portable facility to over 100 children in their own custom-built facility located directly across from both Bondurant elementary schools.

Our Objectives

• Help children succeed in school by providing “informal” activities
• Keep kids involved during critical before-school, after-school and summer hours
• Get children involved and connected to the community
• Provide a safe and logical solution for parents

Our Mission

We strive to provide a daily supervised out-of-school time program setting that is educational and recreational for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th, in the Bondurant-Farrar community, specifically Morris Elementary and Anderson Elementary schools.
